In a world where it seems to “always be something new” in regards to Healthcare, we exist to bring back style and comfort to our community. This is the space where we help customers find peace so they can focus on what’s important, lives.

Macknificent Scrubs, LLC was founded in 2022 by a native Charlestonian who found the traditional world of healthcare apparel completely unrelatable.

Our country saw pictures of exhausted workers, some kneeling in hospital hallways crying, with the message of “your lives are more precious to us than our own” - and we were absolutely in a crisis. At the same time, we saw that “scrubs” in the marketplace were getting less attention, with more focus on mass production as opposed to quality and style. Where were the proper attire that defined generations of healthcare workers? Not only were they becoming completely forgotten, but they were also losing their personality and their craftsmanship. No one was focusing on this category of apparel, when it’s a product that’s so vital to get right.

Finally, Macknificent Scrubs, LLC was founded just a year after the financial crisis, Covid-19, and in the wake of the rapid rise of social networking apps constantly sharing health care workers on the brink of quitting. People were more stressed, comparing their lives to others on social media, and allowing sicknesses to overtake the work-life balance.

So here is Macknificent Scrubs - our purposeful and emphatic response to all of the above. Our mission is to maintain a consistent focus on building the perfect product for your work days, and weave every piece of fabric around that objective. We are proud to say we have the most stylish, built-for-the-long day apparel on the planet and, not only that, a brand built by, and for, our community.
